Why Prices Move
More Buyers = Price Goes Up
When more people buy Yes shares, the Yes price increases. This reflects growing confidence that the outcome will happen.
More Sellers = Price Goes Down
When people sell their shares, the price decreases. This often happens when confidence drops or people take profits.
Crowd Wisdom
Market prices aggregate everyone's opinions into a single probability. The "wisdom of the crowd" often produces surprisingly accurate predictions.
